This week on Exorcast we take a look at Artsploitation Film’s first blu-ray release of Der Samurai, Wild Eye Releasing’s new indie slasher that isn’t Morbid, Blood Slaughter Massacre. We also dive into a two Arrow Video (US) releases of Massacre Gun and the amazing release of Brian Yuzna’s Society and talk about why it may just be the best release of this year. We hear from our good friend Uwe Bowl or however you spell that hack’s name and Chuck gives us the run down on some newly announced Scream Factory news.
This week Chuck and I talk about all sorts of things from what we’ve been watching and what is coming soon. Chuck also mentions Morbid about 32 times. We do however have a few reviews this week. Up first is Blue Underground’s upcoming blu-ray release of Man, Pride and Vengeance (a.k.a. With Django Comes Death) starring Franco Nero, Tina Aumont & Klaus Kinski directed by Luigi Bazzone. Then we have a look at Wild Eye’s release of the documentary Snuff: A Documentary About Killing on Camera directed by Paul von Stoetzel. This is not one that we recommend for everyone!
This week we watched 55 (!!!) outstanding trailers from Severin Films with their new release of Grindhouse Trailer Classics on DVD. We also go to town on the first batch of Arrow Video releases for the U.S. which include Mark of the Devil, Blind Woman’s Curse and Day of Danger!
120 episodes…that’s just crazy! This week the Newsfinder couldn’t be with us because he had grown up things to do and we forgive him…this time. Chuck and I tackle Vinegar Syndrome’s blu-ray release of Punk Vacation, Mondo Macabro’s blu-ray release of The Slave and a little cannibal film from Severin Films called In The Land of the Cannibals directed by Martin Miller a.k.a. Bruno Mattei (who else?)! It’s a short one this week and I don’t even think I tell Chuck to shut up…weird.
This week we have a jam packed show for you. We start off with Vincent Dawn a.k.a. Bruno Mattei’s Mondo Cannibal from Intervision/Severin Films, we then dive into Blue Undergrounds newest blu-ray release of Larry Cohen’s God Told Me To! We get a bit side tracked as per usual, but we jump into one of the goriest love stories ever made, Jorg Buttrereit’s Nekromantik 2 (The Return of the Loving Dead) on blu-ray from Cult Epics and since it’s been looking like Christmas outside every where with all this damn snow everyone has been getting I decided why don’t we just take a peak at the blu-ray release of Christmas Evil (You Better Watch Out) from our pals at Vinegar Syndrome! It’s a fun episode and Chuck pushes me to the boiling point, I hope you all enjoy it.
This week we have our interview with Rob from Wild Eye Releasing! It is a lengthy one so I hope you are ready for it. Before anyone asks, yes, Morbid is mentioned and what happens is a battle of verbal fists being thrown across the air waves! It’s pretty intense! Or maybe it isn’t, maybe I am just getting you hyped to let you down! I am an asshole after all. Regardless, Rob gives us some great information about himself , Wild Eye and the business in general and he also answers all of your questions and some of Chuck’s too. He also gives Exorcast two Wild Eye exclusives that you will only find in this episode!
Alright, after a nice delay with work and family problems we are here in 2015 to give you our best of lists from 2014! Yes! The day you have all been waiting for! I am joined with Chuck and the Newsfinder General and Chuck says something stupid and I give out his email address so you can address all your hate mail out to him. Enjoy!
