It’s a short one this week. I am leaving today to go out of town for the weekend and have been working over time this week to be able to leave early. So with that said my time was very limited watching movies this week, sadly. If you are playing along to the drinking game that The Horror Underground suggested to do with our show, I apologize in advanced for the alcohol poisoning. This week Chuck and I tackle Artsploitation Films blu-ray release of Romain Basset’s psycho-sexual nightmare ridden Horsehead! We also take quick look at Grindhouse Releasing’s of Umberto Lenzi’s Cannibal Ferox!
This week I am joint by The Newsfinder General and the come back from the one, the only, the pumpkin faced cocksucker himself…Vincent Renfield. We are also joined by Dr. Jimmy Terror a.k.a. James Harris from – http://www.docterror.com – to help kick off Italian Horror Week III on his site by reviewing some Italian horror films! We decided to go for some of the less talked about films, so first up is Mario Bava’s Shock (Beyond The Door II), Francesco’s Barilli’s The Perfume of the Lady in Black and the newly released (but not in the USA) Tulpa (Perdizioni mortali) directed by Federico Zampaglione! We also take a look at the newest released from One Way Static Records with Roberto Donati’s score for Umberto Lenzi’s Cannibal Ferox (Make Them Die Slowly).
This week on Exorcast we are taking a look at The Lost Realities of Hog Caller directed by Tom Richards sent to us by Wild Eye Releasing and Come And Get Me directed by Chris Sun which was sent to us by Alternative Cinema! It’s like the Aussie version of Last House on the Left! We have a hysterically fun interview with Adam Albrandt, Natalie Jean and Doug Sakmann from Cross Bearer! We also deliver Last Rites to Umberto Lenzi’s giallo Eyeball a.k.a. Secert Killer from 1975!
We do apologize that we had some mic problems with the first segment of the episode, but oddly enough it worked itself out as we went on. So just bare with us at first. Thanks.
On this week’s episode Vincent and I are reviewing Joseph Ellison’s Video Nasty Don’t Go In The House, Ho-Cheung Pang’s Dream Home, Chris Kentis and Laura Lau’s new film The Silent House and Jake West’s Doghouse. We will also be giving Last Rites to Umberto Lenzi’s less popular Ghosthouse.
