This week we take a look at Sage Stallone’s short film Vic from Grindhouse Releasing and Herb Freed’s 1981 slasher Graduation Day on blu-ray from Vinegar Syndrome! We also talk a bit about The ABC’s of Death Part 2. We don’t get into detail about every one…or maybe we do I don’t remember. The boys also went on a Troma tangent and well, I was bored with it.
This week on the show I am joined by Chuck Conry and Mr. Vincent Renfield shows up but doesn’t speak for some reason… So I went ahead and snapped a picture of him and posted it on our Facebook page to prove he was here. We discussed Fullmoon Features‘ Castle Freak blu-ray directed by Stuart Gordon which stars Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton. We review Richard Griffin’s indie slasher Murder University from Wild Eye Releasing. We also review the highly anticipated return of Lucky McKee, with All Cheerleaders Die which was co-directed/written by McKee and Chris Siverston and sent to us by RLJ Entertainment. Last but not least we take a look at the Israeli black comedy/revenge film that has audiences torn, Big Bad Wolves! Written and directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado. Tarantino named it the best film of last year, how do you feel about that statement?
On this weeks episode Vincent and I discuss the first Israeli horror film by Navot Papushado and Aharon Keshales titled Rabies, Nico Mastorakis’ Island of Death, Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s Cold Sweat and Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia. We also deliver Last Rites to Luigi Cozzi’s Paganini Horror. Remember if you have any questions for us you can email us at Exorcast@gmail.com
