We are back! Finally after what seemed like an eternity of schedule clashing, working and funerals it’s finally time to play podcast once again. This week we have the very anticipated blu-ray release from Blue Underground with Shock Waves, then we take a look at Vinegar Syndrome’s DVD release of Mike Cartel’s Runaway Nightmare! Last but not least is Wild Eye Releasing’s Swamphead! Yep, Swamphead. We catch up a bit from what we have been up to the past few weeks and Chuck rants about random things as usual.
This week on the show I am joined by Mr. Chuck Conry and Cryoticpsych, The Newsfinder General! We talk a little about everything including but not limited to Power Rangers…why I don’t recall. We review 100 Tears directed by Marcus Koch, sent to us by Unearthed Films and Alley Cat directed by Victor M. Ordinez, Ed Palmos and Al Valletta. We also take a ride on the Horror Express directed by Eugenio Martin, which stars Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Telly Savalas which was sent to us by Severin Films. Last but not least we Peter Grendle’s indie slasher, nazi zombie flick Blood Soaked that was sent to us from Wild Eye Releasing .
***Alright guys, this episode was recorded before episode 89. This does not have Vincent on it due to his work schedule and our obligation to get through some of these screeners. It’s a bit rusty so bare with me. This was intended to be ep 89 so a few things are said in this one that will be repeat for you from the last episode.***
This week Chuck Conry and I tackle Hammer’s Frankenstein Created Woman directed by Terence Fisher, Thanatomorphose…yeah I cant pronounce it either…directed by Eric Falardeau and The Big Gundown directed by Sergio Sollima! Keep up with your stripper stories for last weeks contest and the winner should be announced next week!
This week we review Corruption directed by Robert Hartford-Davis, sent to us by Grindhouse Releasing. We take a look at Chan-wook Park’s Stoker and John Carr’s Night Train to Terror which was sent to us from Vinegar Syndrome! It’s a short episode due to us being pressed for time, tired and in the middle of a snow storm!
This week we are back and better than ever! Big things happening on this show with the introduction to the News Finder General! We also review Chris Alexander’s Blood For Irina sent to us by Autonomy Pictures, Michael Kosakowski’s Zero Killed which was sent to us by Cult Epics and James Glickenhaus’ The Exterminator on blu-ray from Synapse! This week’s Last Rites is Peter Duffell’s 1971 anthology The House That Dripped Blood! Also, the song at the end of the show is by none other than David Lynch! The song is Star Dream Girl off his new album The Big Dream that was released this past Tuesday!
