Of course no Friday the 13th episode would be complete with out a F13 rip-off for Last Rites and this week we have Ralph Portillo’s Bloody Murder! We also confront upChuck and Goob from Zombie’s Don’t Podcast for their video of opening Vincent’s care package.

For Last Rites we are bringing you an 80′s action gem with H. Tjut Djalil’s Lady Terminator! Vincent responds to the guy’s over at Zombie’s Don’t Podcast about their remarks of him being a homosexual and what he plans to do with ZDP and Exorcast when I go out of town in two weeks. That and a lot more I can’t think of!

We take a look at all Lovecraft inspired films!Honestly, this could be a Stewart Gordon tribute as well since three of our films tonight are directed by him. We at Exorcast both agree that no one can make a Lovecraft adaption like Stewart Gordon can! So with all that said this week we review Stewart Gordon’s Re-Animator, From Beyond and Dagon! We also review Henry Saine’s The Last Lovecraft: Relic of Cthulhu! We deliver Last Rites to Andrew Leman’s 2005 black and white, silent film The Call of Cthulhu. Vincent rants about talking shit after one of the actors from Madison County listened to our podcast last week, we talk about the new maniac trailer and I say fuck Prometheus, so listen to the show to find out why.

We also give the results to the poll question I asked on Twitter this past week, “What are your five favorite John Carpenter directed films in order?”

Epsiode VIII Friday the 13th

On this week’s special Friday the 13th episode we take a look at one of our very favorite installment’s in the legendary franchise, Danny Steinmann’s Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning! We also delve into the New Line years with Adam Marcus’ Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, James Isaac’s Jason X and lastly the monstrosity that is Ronny Yu’s Freddy vs. Jason! We didn’t feel right giving any of the films in this series their Last Rites so we instead chose Anders Palm’s 1988 F13 spoof Hand of Death Part 25: Jackson’s Back! Also in this episode Vincent sings us a serenade for each of the Friday films and for the first time tells the world the Hatchet Props Story in it’s entirety!

Episode VII: Cinema Wasteland recap


Episode VII

On this weeks episode we give you a recap of our fun filled weekend at Cinema Wasteland in Cleveland, Ohio and we take a look at three of the films we picked up there. First up is Ryan Nicholson’s rape/revenge exploitation short film Torched, then Tsurisaki Kiyotaka’s documentary Orozco the Embalmer and Bill Zebub’s Antfarm Dickhole. Yes, that’s actually the title. We also deliver Last Rites to David Schmoeller’s cult classic Tourist Trap! This week we have a special interview with an inebriated Ken the creator and host of Cinema Wasteland.

**Bare with us durring the interview because the sound quality isn’t the greatest. We had to rig up our cell phone with a mic because we had to do phone to phone rather than skype.**
